Discharge of Accountant Fees Awarded in Divorce
Vernon:
I can see no reason why they would not be discharged. They are not DSOs,
nor are they a division of property. They are akin to debtor's attorney fees
for their own disso counsel, which can be discharged as I am sure you know
only too well. I know when we get those notices that a former disso client
of my wife has filed a no asset Ch 7, we are never happy. Of course, by
then we have already mentally written the debt off, so we are not surprised.
