Does anyone have experience with clients renewing their Federal and State
Gaming license after Ch7 discharge?
A former ch7 client was discharged three years ago. Her gaming license is
coming up for renewal in April 2015 and she is concerned about her credit
report. She has a Wells Fargo first and second mortgage and her credit
report only shows the amount owed; no payment history. Her concern is the
appearance that she is ignoring her mortgage debt.
I told her to dispute the credit report, provide evidence of payments etc.
I also told her they may not change the credit report but she needs to get
the facts on record.
Of course WF told her that this is her attorney's fault for not filing a
reaffirmation on the mortgages. I explained real property reaffirmations;
fortunately she trusts me more than the bank [which I realize is a low bar]
There has been a great deal of discussion here re real property
reaffirmations, mortgage mods and credit reports. I'm looking for
experience with the State and Federal gaming license and post-bankruptcy
credit reports.
