Probably treated the same as a faxed actual signature, as long as the debtor actually affixed the signature to the document before returning it to your office.

There are many technologies that can identify and certify a digital signature to a particular person. Do you think using one of these digital methodologies for signing petitions would be acceptable under the court rules or does it still have to be an actual pen signature? I am not talking about the traditional use of the /s/ signature when filing electronically but rather the debtors original signature on the petition.
