The judge's tentative ruling is to grant part of my motion, but to deny the
OSC re contempt because I didn't comply with LBR 9020-1. In the mad rush
to comply with all the ex parte/shortened notice part of my motion, I
forgot to draft and lodge the OSC proposed order, which is required. The
hearing is on 8/3/16 and the tentative came out today. The judge's
tentative is to deny the OSC, but he is also continuing to October another
portion of my motion to address some other issues.
Since he has already set a continued date to address other issues in my
motion, would it be improper to draft and lodge the proposed OSC order
NOW? Maybe the judge will issue it and set it for the October date?
Your thoughts are welcome.
