Debtors' Counsel BK Portal goes National
This portal has great potential. I think Joe has tremendous customer service
and responsiveness. But we cannot make the servicers play ball. Until at
least one of us has a positive result with this great loan modification
idea, I fear the public will lump us with many of the shady vultures preying
on desperate homeowners, taking money and not providing results. Our
selling point and edge is not that we're attorneys, not that we're CDCBAA,
not that we're BK pros... no, the difference between us and others is (or
should be) that "we get results for loan mods... and in only a week!" But
if we can't get results, we're no different than the many others of more
dubious notoriety offering the same thing. We have a reputation and
credibility to protect.
