Might be able to do so if the plan says other 1/2 to be paid by x, and that if x doesn't pay, no discharge of the 1/2 not paid by debtor.

Subject: [cdcbaa] Joint tax liability - separate Ch13 plans
Married couple who have separated and living apart each want to file Ch13 BK's (high incomes). They are jointly liable for past income tax assessments, and have agreed to each pay half through their Ch13 plans. Both plans will be 100% plans.
Can they each propose a plan showing payment of half the tax obligation? Has anyone done this before?
