Has the wife done anything that would be considered a transmutation of the house from her separate property inheritance to a community property asset, such as transferring title to be in their names? If so, that could change the characterization of the asset.

Payment of property tax, maintenance and insurance from community property
funds does not create a community property interest in separate property
under Moore Marsden formulae.

PC husband has been married 20 years. Wife inherits a home free and clear. H & W have lived in home for 8 months now. Both pay the upkeep and property taxes. PC husband wants to file a ch. 7 bk. What, if any, is his interest in the home?
