Because FC 297.5(a) is state law defining other state law CCP
703.140(a)(2), my initial assumption is yes; however, the feds unwillingness to
recognize RDPs for joint tax return purposes or joint BK filing leads me in the
other direction.

Any input would be appreciated.

This one is giving me a headache. Pursuant to FC 297.5(a) is a Registered
Domestic Partner (RDP) a husband or a wife under CCP 703.140(a)(2) ?

Because FC 297.5(a) is state law defining other state law CCP
703.140(a)(2), my initial assumption is yes; however, the feds unwillingness to
recognize RDPs for joint tax return purposes or joint BK filing leads me in the
other direction.

Any input would be appreciated.
