I was just retained by a client whose attorney never filed his financial
management course (or told him to take it). Bottom line is the case was
closed without a discharge. I have recently discovered there are two handy
new local forms F5010-1.1M and F5010-1O which make quick work of this
problem that has been discussed on this list serve as well as NACBA's.
I have attached a pdf of both forms. You can write in the forms, print them
and file them. This is a Riverside case and I just filed the Motion and
Order. I will let you know how it works and hopefully no hearing will be
required as the order allows the Judge to just reopen the case and provide
time to file the B23 and Certificate (I filed the forms manually since the
case was closed and I had to substitute in. I suspect I could have E Filed
all of it, but who knows).
