How to Stop Social Security Reduction for Old Taxes
A client who receives only social security income has been having her
checks reduced to pay a dischargeable 2001 tax debt of which a
substantial balance is still owed.
I am filing her today and want to notice the social security
administration of the bankruptcy. Does anyone have a good address that
might help the SSA actually take notice of this bankruptcy and stop the
deduction upon notice of the automatic stay?
