Worker's Comp Claim
My reading of In re George 361 F.3d 1157 (9th Cir. 2004) is that a claim by
the UEF against an uninsured employer, previously deemed to be an exise tax (In
re Camilli, 94 F.3d 1330 (9th Cir. 1996) is not the case in California.
Camilli was distinguished as an Arizona issue, and therefore, the UEF claim is, in
fact, dischargeable in California. GO FOR IT!

I am very interested in reading that case. What is the cite? I
can't comprehend which part of Section 523(a) that claim would come
under. Thanks. Jon

One of the workers made a claim to WCAB under Uninsured Fund.
I've recently noticed Own George & Debra George vs. Uninsured Employers Fund; Dept. of Industrial Relations recently filed with the 9th Circuit making the claims under the uninsured fund non-dischargeable.
Any insights? Ch7 was in mind.
