You are the bankruptcy lawyer. My understanding is a petition
preparer filed the junk petition. If you do not come in and clean
up "everything", the next bankruptcy lawyer will sue you for
malpractice. Go through the petition, schedules, statements, with a
fine comb. File totally thorough amendments, the more you find the
more it looks like the debtor was screwed by the perparer.
I once sued a guy for failing to list assets. He amended, but I
intentionally left off two assets from my complaint. At trial the
judge was going to let him off, when I showed the judge there were
more missing assets, the hammer dropped. You have to find
everything. Meet with the woman and go over every question twice.
