Current pending State Legislation to attempt to increase the CA exemptions

Dear Colleagues!
A fellow cdcbaa member (thanx Mako!) has advised us that there is revived legislation to (significantly) increase the CA state exemptions. This legislation was originally voted down on the Senate floor by a vote of 16 to 16. It failed to pass in the State Senate by a 16 to 16 tie vote in September, and was sent to the inactive file. Last week it was taken out of the inactive file and the Senate may vote on it as soon as tomorrow -- It already passed the assembly last year. The following Senators are most important to contact: Democrats that didnt vote last time: Senator Hernandez is in West Covina, Senator Padilla is in Van Nuys, and Senator Wright is in Inglewood.
