hand came from earnings within 30 days of the filing

Exemptions/Exemptions on Levy Prior to BK
I have my first two Chapter 7 cases where the debtors have enough equity in
their homes to justify using the 704 exemptions. I read that 75% of wages is
exempt, so to figure this amount do I take 75% of the normal gross/net income
and exempt that amount? Can I use the 75% of wages to exempt equity in
non-cash items, such as an automobile.
If parents have set up savings accounts or savings bonds for their minor
children, must I exempt this amount or can I show it as belonging to the minor
child?
Finally, any experience on claiming exemptions from levy prior to filing
bankruptcy would be appreciated.
