I thought it was something else...Didn't the increase to $25k happen
before this year?

They increased the income from $15k to $25k. So now those over 55 years
old with income less than $25k get the 175k homestead.

A few weeks ago I recall seeing an article or something that
Governor Brown had signed something into law that impacted the
portion of the homestead exemption dealing with those over 55 years
with incomes less than $25k per year. Does anyone have a copy of
that or know what the changes were?
