Hi Everyone in the Bankruptcy Specialization Class,****

Last week I contacted the State Bar regarding signing up to take the
Bankruptcy Specialization Exam. My understanding is that Dennis, Wes, and
others have contributed to our learning and not charged us for the
specialization course, and in return we are all expected to sign up to take
the exam. Thank you to our teachers!
I received a response from Kelly Tran of the State Bar stating as follows:
1) The next administration of the Bankruptcy Legal Specialization
examination will be on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in Pasadena and Northern
California.

2) The Departments plan is to launch the examination registration in late
February or early March, at present, they do not have a set date.****

3) If anyone in our bankruptcy specialization class is interested in
getting an e-mail notification, please send Kelly Tran an e-mail at
Kelly.Tran@calbar.ca.gov with your contact information. There will be a
registration cutoff date this year, so applicants are encouraged to
register early to secure a desired examination site.****
