Responding the Motion for Default Judgment

I don't think you can oppose the motion for judgment as such, but you should definitely include in your motion to vacate, your "meritorious defenses" i.e. inferentially, why the motion for judgment shouldn't be granted. All the same hearing.

Yea ol' gurus,
I filed a Motion to Vacate Default for my newest orphan. It is set for hearing the same day as the Motion for Default Judgment. Do you think I can oppose the mtn for judgment? Is it sanctionable conduct I wonder? Jon
