I have had that experience myself, too, with Judge Neiter and am very
appreciative.

Here's an update on Judge Neiter's procedures.
The Court just entered an order continuing the disclosure statement
hearing. The order as lodged and as entered makes reference to a negative
notice motion to continue, which I filed only 6 days ago. So the Court did
not wait for the period prescribed by local rules (14 or 17 days) to sign
the order.
Apparently, Judge Neiter continues disclosure hearings without a motion,
after only an order has been lodged, at least in those circumstances when
Ms. Jones instructs counsel to lodge an order without filing a motion.
Thanks to everyone who weighed in.
