LAM Timing question

For those judges who do allow the debtor to not pay on the to-be-stripped
mortgage liens pending the outcome of the motion and/or adversary, does the
debtor (i.e. his/her attorney) still need to bring a motion to suspend the
mortgage payments, or can this somehow be built into the plan provisions?
There seems to be some benefit to waiting to file the LAM Motion until after
a proof of claim has been filed, so if that's the case, several months can
go by prior to that, and I note that Lou's Motion combines the request to
suspend mortgage payments with the LAM Motion.
