New Holographic signature requirement as of 12/1/17
Posted: Sun Dec 10, 2017 6:14 am
Once you purchase adobe, you can:
1. Create the petition in Best Case like we did before with the electronic signature pages. Make a copy to your desktop.
2. Then take your signature pages signed by client and throw them in scanner all at once. Adobe lets you easily separate them on your desktop by hitting the extract button a few times.
3. Open the Petition on your desktop. Go to each signature page and hit replace. Save Petition.
4. Replace it with the one in Best Case. Good to go!

>> At least you knock out the step of having to delete all the /s/ pages. Otherwise, you can still drag and drop signature pages into the pdf generated by ECF manager. You just have to delete the /s/ pages. Hey, I remember when we used to have to mail in the original signed petition, blue backed with 5 copies

>> In any event, I file petitions for attorneys in several other jurisdictions and in those jurisdictions that require wet signatures, the Court has an event code for the signature pages to be uploaded in one pdf. Much easier. Maybe we can talk to the rules committee.

>> Hi hear you Sam. The only thing I can suggest, other than the court increasing their capacity, is to purchase Adobe Pro DC. It will allow you to easily replace the signature pages where they should go into the petition. >>
>>
>>
>> I tried buying a brand new scanner with no change. The Adobe costs $14.99/month.
