Fellow list-mates
potential client receives $9,000 in child support and spends $2600 in
paying for school per month? For means test purposes its my
understanding that child support is income. (although for IRS purpose it
is not income) . The question is, can I deduct the school expense? If
yes than I can qualify her for ch7.
under #20 of the means test, education expense is deductible (if no
public education is available for similar service)  does that mean a
christian private school that provides religious education as part of it
curriculum would be deductible.
second the reason she gets $9000 is so that she can pay for the school
therefor is the $2600 cost of generating the income. (similar to a
business)
looking at all arguments to qualify the client
