You can file a substitution of attorney without the replaced attorney's
signature. Providing the outgoing attorney's signature informs the court
that the other attorney knows he or she is replaced. Your solutions
handles that concern perfectly.

I have a new client whose former attorney is now deceased. The case is in the fifth year of a Chapter 13. I am thinking to just type the former attorney's name and indicate deceased on the SOA. Is anything different or more required? Thanks
