1. Thank you to all for all the great advice on this. Jay I took a deep breath, looked at what really mattered and what was relevant, sent my demand letter and they agreed to settle for a lesser amount. Not as much as we wanted but enough to close the book on it.
QUESTION:
2. We signed the Settlement Agreement (they are up North) and have not received the check. I called and will send a letter ... how long do I wait? It's been 16 days. We demanded check in 10 days. I was a little blind-sided by this only b/c once we sent demand they were extremely prompt in responding both to my calls, letters, settlement, etc. So ... ???
Any advice, please oh great ones who have done this oh so many more times than I at the current date?
Thanks!
Sandy
