Does anyone have a handle on how to handle this?
Husband owned house prior to marriage. Married three years.
Shouldn't some of the built equity be considered community property since his income paid it?
I see many trustees treating the house like it's all separate. Happy to go along with that, but it makes me too nervous for those that may not see it that way.
Any thoughts? Trustees?
Much thanks,
