My client was told about Wells Fargo and their evil practices. You know how clients can be.
I have double checked the petition and was pretty dead on with the balances in the accounts on the date of filing. And yes, I exempted the accounts.
I just emailed the trustee so hopefully will get a release quickly.

Wells Fargo will want a letter from the Chapter 7 Trustee authorizing them
(WF) to release the funds. As counsel indicated, you will want to make sure
that the funds are exempted. In order to expedite it, and, depending who
the Trustee is, maybe offer to prepare the letter for the Trustee. Good
luck. Wells Fargo is difficult to say the least .

In the future, tell any client who has a Wells Fargo account to switch
accounts or open up another one as WF always freezes debtors' accounts.
Talk to you Ch 7 Trustee. Some have a form letter they will send to get
account released.
Good luck.

Depends on the trustee. Easiest way is to amend schedules to comport with the amount of the freeze and exempt the funds. After amending the schedules, contact the trustee about the amendment and request the freeze be lifted.

My clients WFB account has been frozen as a result of their Chapter 7
