Dear Colleagues!
Please be advised that due to a bad incident with a Ch7 Trustee attempting to go through the security at the public entrance of the Roybal Federal Building last week, the CSOs (Court Security Officers or "blue coats" as they are affectionately called) is now even more strict.
I would advise getting an extra large Hefty jumbo (much bigger than a sandwich bag) see-through zip bag to place all of your cords, hardware and larger metals in and then a smaller see-through zip bag to put your keys, watch, rings, bracelets, neckleses and any other smaller metals in to make going through security easier. Laptops will still need to be separate and out of their cases. Shoes, belts and jackets will need to go in separately.
Please remember that in the bigger scheme of things, their security efforts keep us safe while in the Roybal Federal Building.
