B23 for deceased ch 7 joint debtor?

Is a B23 with certificate still required to be filed on behalf of the recently deceased joint debtor husband (on the assumption that surviving joint debtor wife can complete it on his behalf) ?
The 341a examination was done while joint debtor husband was still alive, and the trustee has filed the no distribution report.
