Debtor and separated spouse are both on title and on the loan to a car.
Separated spouse makes the payments and drives the car. Debtor does not
does not drive the car nor make the payments. If he surrenders his interest
in his chapter 7, will Santander take any adverse action against the
separated spouse like repo the car? Spouse drives the kids around and
debtor does not want the car to be repoed and will reaffirm debt if
necessary. It just doesn't seem necessary.
