Does anyone have any information on the progress (if any) of the homestead
amendment through the Assembly?

As you know, SB 308 is winding its way through the legislative process over
the vocal objection of the banking lobby and the Chapter 7 Trustees.
NACBA is having a conference call this Friday at noon to discuss the status
of the legislation and what we need everyone to do in order to make sure
these needed changes to the states exemptions are passed into law.
If you only represent consumer debtors, and are interested in being on the
call, please email me off list at eclark@blclaw.com for call in information.
We will need everyone to work hard to get SB 308 past the final hurdles and
your support is very much needed. Thanks
