Off topic - whats a proper gift for a lawyer who is referring me cases?

As some of you may know, I left LA to work at the Chapter 13 Trustee's
office in Idaho. That lasted about 6 months. Not my cup of tea. So I opened
up shop as Debtor's counsel in Boise. It was very good timing since right
as I was opening up my practice, a bankruptcy attorney who had a fair
amount of business was closing up shop and going to work for a firm. She
is now referring all her clients and calls to me, which is fantastic. She
has not asked for anything from me. I want to compensate her but am not
sure what is appropriate. In Idaho, referral fees are allowed per agreement
between attorneys so long as they don't violate any other rules of
professional conduct, but she has not asked for referral fees. Should I
offer? Or should I compensate her some other way?
She says she's just "happy to have a good attorney to refer them to", but
everybody likes to be paid! I just want to do the right thing, and I am
grateful. Can anyone offer some guidance on this? I know she's not
desperate for money like most of us starving BK attys are, as she has a
spouse who does well, but still, she deserves a big, tangible thank you
from me.
