MCLE Credit For Specialization Classes

There is probably at least one other attorney on the listserv who will want
to know, so I share:
I recently noticed that the proof of attendance sheets for the Specialist
Certification preparation classes and many of the CDCBAA Saturday classes
do not mention MCLE, but instead state at the top "Certificate of
Attendance For California Legal Specialization Education In Bankruptcy Law."
I went to the CalBar website and found MCLE Rule 2.84 Legal specialization
which states "A member may claim MCLE credit for educational activities
that the Board of Legal Specialization approves for certification or
recertification."
Best Regards
