Can a judgment creditor garnish alimony payments in CA?

Take a look at 703.070. In general, the proceeds of a support judgment are exempt without making a claim of exemption. However, if the property is levied upon as is common with a bank levy, a claim of exemption may still need to be filed and tracing back to the source may be necessary as well.oceeds are in excess of what is needed for support (rare, but possible).

I read through the list of California nonbankruptcy exemptions (CCP 704)
and I do not see any that protect alimony income from creditors. Am I
missing anything or is that the law in California? I understand other
states protect alimony from creditors.
