CH11 First Day motions in ND

Larry:
All cases need motions, but not all cases need first day motions. For example, an app to employ an atty is considered a first day motion, but the UST does not object if the app is filed within 30 days of the case filing.
If you have need for a first day motion, file it on the first day.

I time my filings so we don't need to do the 1st day motions drill and file
them as soon as possible.

I have been researching CH11 cases filed in the ND before Judge Riblet. I
don't see anyone filing first day motions on the first day or first week for
that matter. Is that the way it's done up here or am I missing something.
