Judges don't need to sign off on those types of reaffirmation agreements.
I generallyadvise my clients against entering intorealproperty reaffirmation agreements. I don't think its problematicfornon-recourse loans (those covered by anti-deficiency laws), but I don't see an upside for the debtorsanyway.

One of my creditor clients was approached by a debtors counsel for a
reaffirmation agreement on a real estate first position mortgage. It's a
chapter 7, Judge Neiter.
Conventional wisdom seems to be that the Judges won't sign off on mortgage
reaffirmations, any exceptions? Does anyone know Judge Neiter's position on
mortgage reaffirmations?
Also, does anyone go looking for a mortgage reaffirmation? I don't.
Best regards
