I believe all of my plans propose the third party amount as the value and
we have never lost. If you think about it, the retail value, if it is by a
dealer, would only be realized after the dealer has invested labor and
parts to bring the car up to the condition purchasers would expect from a
dealer. That should lower the operative value of the car for plan
confirmation purposes from the retail value since you are not making any
additional investment in the vehicle.
