Recording a bankruptcy court order awarding atty fees in California

My client received an award of atty fees in an AP.
1. Is the procedure for recording the order awarding atty fees any
different from recording an ordinary state court judgment. Does anyone
have first hand experience with this?
2. Is there any reason to write a letter before recording the order?
