Settling an Adversary

Yes. Without creating any contested matter, the parties can agree via a
stipulation. File the signed stip, then file a lou Order.
I've done this to strip jr. mortgages.

But don't you need to open up an adversary to do this? You cannot just
file that in the main case, can you?

I'm trying to settle an adversary (this time on the creditor side) and
would like to avoid filing a complaint since we may be near settlement.
Does anyone know the best way to settle a nondischargeability case
without filing one?
I know the debt can be reaffirmed, but reaffirmations can be withdrawn
in 60 days, so other than extending the deadline to sue beyond that 60
days deadline, I know of no way to do it.
