Wells Fargo in Wisconsin

Listmates,

Client received her Ch7 discharge last year. She onwed rental property in Wisconsin with 2 WF loans. First, WF sent me a letter demanding that Client sign a reaffirmation on the 1st loan. Then, after the discharge, they began refusing to accept payments on the 2nd TD. When Client asked why, they referred her "to your bankruptcy lawyer." There has been no mortgage forgiveness recorded.

All I can surmise is that WF is just biding their time, and when the value of the property increases over what it is now, they will foreclose. BTW, the loan was fully secured.

Is WF within their rights to (1) refuse payment and (2) not forgive the mortgage? It doesn't sound 4right to me.
