Do I need to give notice if I am going to appear in Santa Ana

The creditor sent notice that he intends to be in Judge Wallace's Court in
Santa Ana for a Riverside hearing, but I don't see any local rule that says
such notice is required. Do I need to file/serve one? Is it customary?
