Past case ECF picked up is not my Debtor and within 8 years

Let me share my first snafu for the new year.
I filed a Chapter 7 recently and get a notice that he filed before in 2009. The notice of prior case had a different name and was filed in Sacramento. The names are not similar, but the last 4 of the social security number are the same, and I presume all 9 digits are the same, as names are not even similar of the same gender.
Today I got the Notice of Ineligibility for a Discharge.
I called the clerk in Los Angeles and was advised to alert the Trustee and the UST in both the Central and Eastern District of the issue- that apparently the Debtor in 2009 used my Debtor's SSN.
What is less clear to me is whether I need to get the judge involved with a Motion of some kind.
Has anyone ever dealt with this issue and have a case # where I can see how the issue was resolved?
Thank you
Steve
