Formula for calculating present value of a promissory

Dear Holly,
If you simply want a calculator to do the present value computation, there is a free one available at http://www.calculatorpro.com/calculator ... alculator/ and it's easy to use. If you don't like that one, Google "present value calculator" and you'll get many others. If you want to understand the idea behind the calculation, give me a call. I used to be a math professor - law is a second career for me - and can explain the underlying concept quite clearly.
