LBR 9075-1 Order Shortening Time

Joe:
That is a nice touch, but if you want a hearing in 48 hours, the first service may not be in the creditors hands before the hearing. It would be nice if the court started acting like this is the 21st Century and let all service be electronic. Unfortunately, not all of our clients keep up email lists for their clients.
It won't be too many years before we serve everything electronically, for free.

Of course, notice of the hearing has to be sent out, whether by fax, overnite, calls, regular mail, whatever. It just seems to me to make no sense whatsoever to have to serve the underlying motion or app for OST twice.
