I've dealt with this many times. You need to have the motion to extend
filed before the deadline. You do not need the order.
So if the judge grants the motion, which they typically do, then your
fine, and you can file prior to the extended deadline.
But if it isn't granted, then your deadline has expired.
If you have any doubts about filing, get your 2004 exam done soon after
filing or the 341A so you can determine if an adversary is warranted.
