Hello Jim:
The "judgment" language is not required to obtain an abstract of judgment or a writ of execution. I have done both without it.

Thanks much for posting this. I looked at your Fee App Order in the Olympic Holdings case and I see that you included the following language in the Order: JUDGMENT SHALL BE ENTERED FOR THE UNPAID AMOUNT OF $42,015.63.
Do you routinely include such judgment language in all your Fee App Orders, or just this one where you had a former client opposing your Fee App.? And do you think such judgment language is required in the Order to obtain an Abstract of Judgment and Writ of Execution?
