No, as to the discharge deadlines, absent a court order to the
contrary. FRBP 4004 and 4007 are link to the date first set for the
meeting of creditors, so continuances are irrelevant.
As for other reasons, there's not really enough information to
determine. Maybe the Trustee thinks there are non-exempt assets or
a questionable exemption (which CAN be objected to now as it is
linked to the conclusion of the 341a meeting). Have you tried
calling the Trustee and asking?

Ch7: 341 meeting continued 4 times

I've been having a problem with resolving a Ch7 case. It's a consumer case with no assets but relatively high (95k) income. Debtors were examined but the 341 meeting has been continued 4 times. The trustee questioned some of the expenses we claimed, and we amended schedules and produced documentation.
My question is: If the trustee didn't file a motion to extend the time to object to discharge, can the trustee toll its time to object by not concluding the 341 meeting? No party has filed a motion to extend time to object to discharge.
Can you think of some other purpose for the continuances? The last two times appearance was excused and I thought it was concluded but then I received notice of a continued 341 date.
