I know but there may be some brave souls out there who are willing to
file the substitution of attorney and represent my client for the
341(a). Of course, we will sub back in after the hearing. Our cases are
always squeaky clean.;)

Re appearances in Eastern:

New Local Rules take effect May 1st in Eastern District. LR 2017-1, in
particular, more or less eliminates "special appearances" by imposing a
greater burden and liability risk on anyone who appears on a case. While
it's not clear how onerously these will be implemented by the court, some
"appearance attorneys" in Eastern District are ceasing to appear for anyone
but their own cases.

Pro tip: if you have a relationship with someone in EDCA, you may want to
check with him or her to ensure they're still available to cover your cases
after May 1.

Does anyone have a sample declaration of representation for the Eastern District and can anyone recommend an "appearance attorney" for the Eastern District?
Thanks,
