Domicile of Active Duty Serviceman for 522 Exemption Purposes

This answer only pertains to domicile and not on exemptions. To establish
domicile you need to physically be there with intent to remain
indefinitely. Once you establish the domicile, you can physically leave for
as long as you would like -- so long as you don't domicile anywhere else --
that is, you always intend to return to where you were.
My wife has a strict bedtime for me which I have passed by 2 hours so I
can't get you case law. What I am trying to say is the requirement to
obtain a domicile is 2 parts : (1) physical presence and (2) no intention
of leaving. Once you establish domicile, your physical presence does not
matter (although can be circumstantial evidence of your intent).
