Paying Postpetition Arrearages in Converted 7 to 13 Case-- Is it Possible?

348 includes all postpetition claims. answer is yes. At this years NACBA, one of the lawyers was suggesting that you can file a 13, incur medical bills, even bills you know are coming, and then convert to 7. That really pushes the envelope, but, absent a 523 complaint for incurring debt with no intention to repay said debt, it would work.

List mates: If I convert a Chapter 7 to 13 and want to pay postpetition arrearages, can I do that? Or must it be prepetition arrearages to treat in the plan? The case is 6 months old and the Debtor hasnt paid a single payment. Thank you Steve
