Folks:
In July it was announced that Corinthian Colleges, owners of
for-profit institutions Everest College, Heald College and WyoTech,
was closing down or selling all schools as part of a deal with the US
Department of Education.
At the time of the agreement, Corinthian Colleges schools had about
30,000 students enrolled in various programs - many in Southern
California. Those students are now struggling to learn their rights
and options when it comes to their education and student loan
obligations.
In response, I wrote a short ebook with Joshua R.I. Cohen, a student
loan lawyer who practices in Vermont and Connecticut. The book reviews
the rights and responsibilities of all Corinthian Colleges students in
the face of this major event.

The ebook is free, and I encourage you all to download it and pass it
along to your clients who may have a need for the information. For
many, a mistake could mean tens of thousands of dollars out of their
pockets.
If anyone has any questions, please let me know and I'm happy to answer them.
