Change in Program Policy on How Chapter 13 Fees are Collected

Dear Colleagues!
The attached letter was sent to the judges on 8/15 explaining a change that is going to occur in the near future. Rather than the standing trustees collect fees on disbursements as they have done for years, the U.S. Trustee Program is adopting the strict language of the Code and moving to collect the fees on receipts. The letter provides the background.
The OUST is not sure exactly when the the Chapter 13 Trustee's software changes will be made but the plan is to start Oct 1st.
